High Point Farm is located in Montague, New Jersey, abutting Stokes State Forest and High Point State Park along the New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and New York State borders. Both a working farm that Fountain House members share in operating and a natural resource which they take part in conserving, High Point Farm is a unique and integral part of the Fountain House program for men and women living with mental illness (our members).

Located on 477 acres of land, the working farm encompasses 30 acres including housing, gardens, animal pastures, 15 acres of meadows, 20 acres of streams and preserved wetlands, and a 10 acre lake. The remaining acerage is dense forest. The housing includes a large Swiss-style chalet that can accommodate as many as 18 people.
The livestock consists of llamas and alpacas whose luxurious fibers represent a high priced cash crop, the sale of which provides necessary income towards the operations of the Farm (High Point is a not-for-profit organization). Members take part in all aspects of the alpacas and llamas care and well-being including feeding, herd health, shearing, skirting, and packing the fleece for the fiber co-op and participating in Alpaca Shows. High Point Farm is a member of AOBA (Alpaca Owners and Breeders Association).

Members and staff at High Point have established an award-winning tree farm under the federal Forest Stewardship Management Plan. The forest is maintained and replanted, all wood harvested is milled and treated at the farm. The wood is used to make repairs to the chalet, the barns, outbuildings, the gardens and animal pastures.
